Congratulations on your graduation QBA16!

Point College’s QBA 2016 group celebrated completing their two-year studies on Monday, December 14, 2017.

The Rector/Managing Director Sari Gustafsson reminded them of the constantly changing working life.
– Be curious. The best way to be super is to be ready to change.” I wish you all a very good future.” she told the group.

Beatrice Kilel from Kenya who was the speaker, summarized the past two years by thanking everybody with whom the group had been working. “Let’s not stop learning” she encouraged her friends.

The Head of the Program, Bryan Roberts reminded the students why they had come to study at Point College.
“You all came here to change your lives. Now you have the skills, confidence and tools, but still, you have to learn something new every day, adapt to changing conditions. And remember, if something looks like an opportunity, try it,” he encouraged the students.

Bryan Roberts finished his speech with Kiplings poem: If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son! Or a woman, my daughter!

Wolfram Tachie-Menson from the QBA group received a diploma for active participation in the Nordplus project.
