Six schools from five countries had their annual symposium “Together for Tomorrow’s Education” in Peterborough, England. Host of this meeting was Adam Mee from Peterborough Regional College. Other participants came from Netherlands (ROC de Leijgraaf), Germany (BBS Rotenburg and Berufskolleg Viersen), Czech Republic (Prague College for EU administration) and Finland (Point College).
Point College representatives were Sari, Maarit, Seija, Anita, Anna and Jukka. We had the possibility to meet European colleagues, get to know the host school and visit the great Peterborough cathedral and the traditional city of Peterborough Mayor’s Parlour, where we got a concentrated dose of English history.
The school network decided to continue cooperation in coming Erasmus+ projects. As well, student and staff exchange for coming years was discussed.
In 2019 there are plans to organize at least Culture and Language course for European VET learners in England, Entrepreneurship module in the Netherlands and possibilities for European students to participate business education modules in our new Careeria.
We hope to continue working and maintaining good relations with Peterborough Regional College and our host Adam.
